In any organization, the strength and success of the team are often driven by the remarkable individuals who contribute their skills, passion, and dedication. We are excited to shine our Employee Spotlight on Jarett Fitzwater, who has made a significant impact at Omaha Track Equipment. Jarett joined OTE KC on March 25, 2024, as a technician. Since then, he has consistently gone above and beyond, demonstrating not only exceptional skills in truck upfitting but also embodying our core values: Safety, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Teamwork, and Repurpose and Recycle. One of Jarett's most notable contributions has been his focus on details, fostering a positive work environment, and mentoring his fellow employees. This not only has improved efficiency and enhanced quality but also adds to customer satisfaction with our final product. In addition to his daily work, Jarett looks up to his manager and is appreciative of his vast knowledge and wisdom in the upfitting world. Jarett finds routing hydraulic hoses/wires in the cleanest way possible to be challenging and pushes himself to do better with each truck he builds. He takes his work seriously and with pride. He strives to always do his best work with each truck and that helps motivate him. He looks to impress the customer and enjoys the feeling of achievement with every build. When asked about his experience at OTE, Jarett shared he finds planning his day and setting goals to finish more than expected helps with his productivity. This reflects his positive outlook and commitment to fostering a supportive workplace. His daily ritual, regardless of weather, Jarett walks into work with his shorts on and changes into his work uniform to prepare for the day ahead. Outside of work, Jarett enjoys a good BBQ pulled pork sandwich, practicing wheelies on his R6 street bike, and riding motocross. Jarett is honored to own his own home with a shop in the backyard. The shop contains his 5 motorcycles and twin-turbo truck that he enjoys immensely. Jarett is very close with his family, especially his mom and dad. He has one older brother and sister-in-law and is the proud uncle of "his best friend" his niece. As we look to the future, Jarett is excited about sharing a little about himself. He would like everyone to know if you get the chance to stop into the KC branch to do so and be sure to stop by and say hi. Jarett is very grateful to work at Omaha Track and for all the people he works with.
