The 2024 #GiveAHam challenge has shown us the incredible power of community. We've seen countless acts of kindness from individuals, businesses, and organizations across Oklahoma. There's still time to get out and give and join the movement by donating a ham to your local food bank or an individual today! ❤️

Across Oklahoma, our pig farmers are not only producing quality pork but also giving back to their communities. Last week, Seaboard Foods generously donated more than 10,000 pounds of pork to organizations supporting unsheltered Oklahomans. We are thankful for the widespread support of the #GiveAHam initiative.

Oklahoma Pork board member Dr. Scott Carter is keeping the generosity alive this holiday season by accepting the #GiveAHam challenge! Now, he’s passing it on to our incredible allied industry sponsors, including Dr. Jared Harshman of HUVEPHARMA, INC and Dr. Fent of Ralco. There is still time to keep the giving going and make an impact for families in need if you'd like to take the #GiveAHam challenge too!

Our fifth and final free pork lunch for 300 people event as part of the 2024 #GiveAHam campaign took place today in Hartshorne, Oklahoma! The beautiful weather made for a perfect way to wrap up our tour. We were honored to partner with Head Country BBQ, Ozarka Water, and the Hartshorne FFA to serve warm pork lunches to the community. Do you know why Hartshorne is such a special part of this year’s #GiveAHam campaign? Just before the campaign started, we asked our social media followers to choose an Oklahoma community for a free pork lunch. Hartshorne quickly became the community of choice, receiving over 200 votes in just hours. It was a joy serving you today, Hartshorne!
