  • This year, more than 3,200 OhioHealth associates donated over $1.1 million during WE Give, our annual workplace giving campaign. These generous gifts will improve patient care through nursing scholarships, innovative medical research, well-being resources for our associates and vital community outreach programs to advance health equity. Contributions and pledges also benefit the communities we serve through the United Way, with funding that will stay local to support nonprofit organizations and agencies. Thank you to all who donated - amazing things happen when WE Give! #BelieveInWe

  • We’ve opened a new clinic in New Albany to help women navigate the unique challenges of midlife – including hormonal and physical changes and mental health support. The OhioHealth Menopause and Midlife Clinic offers specialty care in a compassionate environment to those who are premenopausal, perimenopausal or postmenopausal. “Women in this stage of life are incredibly busy and fulfill multiple roles: partner, mother, daughter, employee, and many other titles. We tend to care for ourselves last,” said Pragna Patel, MD, FACOG. “There is a sort of void in seeing an OBGYN once done having children. Also, historically women have been told this is a phase of life that happens, and you just need to deal with the symptoms, but there are so many options that can improve your overall health and quality of life.” Learn more about the services and treatments now available: ohlth.co/midlifeclinic. #OhioHealthWomensCare

  • OhioHealth and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium are partnering again to spread kindness this holiday season. While visiting Wildlights, stop by the Notes of Hope station in the Asia Quest region. You can write a personalized letter to cancer patients and help bring smiles to those who may need it most. 💌 “A cancer diagnosis is life-changing and often scary,” said Kara Davis, BSN, RN, Oncology Nurse Navigator. “These cards remind our patients that they’re not alone and that their community supports them. Just knowing that someone took some time out of their day to wish them well really brightens their experience when they come in for treatment.” Now in its third year, the program continues to grow. Last year, visitors created over 2,200 notes for patients, along with more than 50 for zoo staff – and even some of the animals! ohlth.co/3OO3jcw

OhioHealth is proud to announce plans for a new comprehensive outpatient cancer center. This future facility will focus equally on expanding access to complex cancer care and improving patient experience. The center will be built in the current location of the south parking lot on OhioHealth’s administrative campus across from OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. Construction will include nearly doubling the size of the existing building on the site, renovations to the current structure and a new parking garage. “This comprehensive cancer center will increase access to care for patients who are dealing with complicated and aggressive cancers,” said Praveen Dubey, MD, OhioHealth VP Cancer Care. “Cancer is scary. With the creation of this facility, we are making care more convenient for our patients and demonstrating that we know their care is a combination of clinical care and the experience every time they interact with us. This facility will provide a place for central Ohio residents and an option for our patients in the region if they need more complex care outside of their community.” The project also expands OhioHealth’s long-standing relationship with Columbus Oncology & Hematology Associates. Columbus Oncology and Hematology will be co-located within the building, leasing about 30,000 square feet for a medical oncology clinic, infusion and pharmacy. “We are honored to collaborate on this center with Columbus Oncology and Hematology. They are one of the most respected cancer experts in our area. Working with them to provide medical oncology and infusion services to both our patients and theirs definitely puts the stamp of world-class medicine on this new facility” said Dr. Dubey. “We already have multiple cancer centers together and this strengthens that commitment to all those we serve.” Work is slated to begin in the spring of 2026, with the goal to open for patient care in spring of 2029. ohlth.co/3VB3D29 I #OhioHealthCancerCare

  • We recognize this #GivingTuesday with deep gratitude. The OhioHealth Foundation works year-round to raise and invest funds that drive innovations in medicine, advance new technologies and sustain vital community programs and services. “We couldn’t do it without the generosity of literally thousands of donors every year who help support our work,” OhioHealth Foundation Vice President of Philanthropy, Simon B. said. “We know that giving is embedded in the core values of OhioHealth. Making a charitable contribution, no matter what the size, is a great way to champion OhioHealth values and to support our mission.” If you would like to support OhioHealth programs, caregivers and patients, please visit ohlth.co/41dsBZ3.

  • We’d like to share a very special moment from Hockey Fights Cancer last night. OhioHealth cancer survivors proudly rang a bell to symbolize they are cancer-free – while artist Molly Oldham beautifully performed her original song ‘Mighty in Me’ about her own cancer journey. Their collective resilience through diagnosis, treatment and remission is inspiring. It's an honor to be a part of this powerful evening with the Columbus Blue Jackets every November. Thank you to all who showed up in the fight against cancer. #KeepMakingPlans I #HockeyFightsCancer
