🌟 121 Years of Powered Flight 🌟 On this day in 1903, Orville and Wilbur Wright made history with the first successful powered flight of a heavier-than-air aircraft. Taking off from Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, in The Wright Flyer, their flight lasted just 12 seconds but traveled 120 feet. 🛫 Despite freezing temperatures, ice-covered puddles, and winds up to 27 mph, the Wright brothers’ perseverance and innovative spirit proved that human flight was possible. Their achievement, born from four years of research, testing, and mechanical ingenuity, ushered in the modern age of aviation. Today, we continue to soar thanks to their vision and relentless pursuit of progress. Happy Anniversary to the pioneers of flight! ✈️🌍 #WrightBrothers #AviationHistory #Innovation #PoweredFlight #Anniversary #Engineering #Aerospace #Progress
