Our 2025 Annual Award nominations are now open. There are 8 categories to recognize impactful projects, communities, and professionals, including the Citizen Participation Award ⭐ In 2024, the City of Cincinnati received the Citizen Participation Award recipient for the “Balance: The City Budget Game Show.” As part of the community engagement efforts, the City of Cincinnati’s Office of Budget and Evaluation developed an interactive and engaging game show to educate community members on various aspects of the City of Cincinnati’s Budget. Contestants from the audience participate in a series of games intended to entertain and educate. Do you know of a great example of citizen participation deserving of this award?
