Improving the lives of workers through biomedical and occupational research
About us
The Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences is a research institute housed at OHSU. Our mission improve the lives of workers through biomedical and occupational health research. We explore a range of questions with regard to work-related injury and disease, and develop evidence-based strategies to prevent these negative outcomes and improve the health of workers. We actively engage with community organizations, businesses, and stakeholders through Total Worker Health® to improve workplace safety, health, and well-being.
