Does a wider road decrease traffic? No. It does not. Study after study has shown that adding lanes only adds more traffic. It might be time to move our infrastructure ideas out of the Stone Age, and understand what actually alleviates traffic congestion. I can hear you thinking.. “What is that Mihai?” HA! Our Competitors Selling Hot Garbage? Yup! We make fun of them? Double yup! Emergency Vehicles can turn red lights into green lights. The technical term is "Emergency Vehicle Preemption", and the majority of Preemption systems being sold are hot GARBAGE. The #competitor sells a "Visual Emitter Preemption" or "Optical Preemption" where a little optical sensor at an intersection will look for flishy-flash strobie lights and turn green if a police/fire vehicle is coming. This has a MAX range of 2500ft to 3000ft (in the absolute best conditions), with an average range of 300-500ft, in urban areas. GROSS! We sell a #Preemption system that has an AVERAGE range of 1.5miles regardless of conditions, with a max range of 2 miles. NOT GROSS! Optical Preemption = 3000 ft. Our Preemption = 10,560 ft. Why do we rep this product? 1. It saves lives. 2. BECAUSE IT'S 2024. 3. Oh and big shock, it's less expensive. We REFUSE to push some strobe light receptacle that drastically INCREASES the time it takes an emergency vehicle to respond to a call, maybe costing people their lives. OB Traffic Awarded an 8.4 Gigawatt Solar Government Project OB Traffic has been awarded a major solar project that will bring 8.415 Gigawatts of renewable energy to a Major West Coast City in 2024! Our team has been tasked to repurpose land to generate clean, renewable power through an innovative "Farm to Fleet" partnership. OB Traffic's Monocrystalline Tier-1 Solar Panels will feed energy directly into the grid to help power electric vehicles, homes, and businesses. This project alone will eliminate an estimated 5 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions per year - the equivalent of taking 1 million cars off the road. THIS WEEK IN SHOCKING NEWS: The Chairman of the National Automotive Dealers Association (NADA) doesn’t like EVs. Meanwhile… #Tesla, the largest #EV manufacturer bypasses the worthless greedy upcharging car dealership and sells cars directly to consumers, saving the #consumer #money. Could it be a coincidence that the Chairman of NADA doesn’t like EVs? Maybe! Could it be a coincidence that NADA translates to “nothing” in Spanish? Probably not. The future is coming, and there is nada that NADA can do about it. …. Note for the Author: Stating “A Study says” and not citing the study used to get an F in 8th Grade English. i.e. “A study says that it is better to light your money on fire instead of giving it to an Auto Dealer, because at least the fire can keep you warm on a cold night” What study? Who knows!
