Across all our offices, we came together to reflect on an amazing year, share exciting updates and promotions, and enjoy the return of our beloved raffle baskets. This year, we raised almost $2,500 for local charities through the raffle. Wishing everyone a joyful holiday season! Please note that our offices will close for the winter holidays beginning Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 12:30 PM, and will reopen at 8:30 AM on Thursday, January 2, 2025. • An update by the Cleveland Department of Building & Housing now requires periodic inspections of parking structures. The update requires parking garage owners to have their structures inspected every five years. As of February 2024, all new and existing parking structures must abide by this update to ensure public safety. This observation must be conducted, or at least directly supervised, by a Qualified Inspector, with the corresponding report due to the Department of Building & Housing by February 6, 2025. If you own a multi-level parking structure, this update applies to you! Our in-house team of engineers will assess the structure and provide repair recommendations with cost estimation and repair documentation if needed. These professionals are well-equipped to assess parking structures, identify any concerns, and furnish the requisite documentation to the Department of Building & Housing, thereby helping to mitigate the risk of penalties and fines. Contact us today to schedule an evaluation and take the necessary steps toward compliance. #Cleveland #ParkingGarageInspections #StructuralEngineering

He has been instrumental to devising engineering for numerous signature buildings including the Comcast Technology Center and Comcast Center, the FMC Tower, The W Philadelphia, The Laurel, The St. James and The Loews Philadelphia. Bob has shared his extensive experience through mentoring of Bala's younger engineers, along with advocating for the profession with his participation in the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) and being named the first mechanical engineer in Philadelphia's prestigious Carpenter's Club. • We’re thrilled to share that our very own Robert Franco represented O&N as a moderator at Bisnow’s New York Healthcare Real Estate Conference earlier this week! Rob led an engaging panel discussion on "Innovative Building Upgrades & Capital Improvement Projects," diving into the challenges and opportunities of navigating inpatient and outpatient building improvements. The panel featured industry professionals who explored strategies for upgrading existing buildings to keep them operational, as well as the design and engineering processes behind these transformative capital improvement projects. A big thank you to the conference organizers and panelists for fostering important conversations that are shaping the future of healthcare real estate! #HealthcareRealEstate #StructuralEngineering
