Trienens Institute for Sustainability and Energy at Northwestern University is to advance global sustainability and energy solutions through transformational research, interdisciplinary education, and public engagement. The Trienens Institute’s work spans a wide range of disciplines and schools across Northwestern. We are dedicated to pursuing a truly interdisciplinary approach to discovering sustainable solutions and educating our students and the public about the world’s great challenges, such as creating sustainable cities and managing the risks of climate change.
