In all the busyness of December we forgot to mention one thing that was a highlight for us last month: the Walker Winterfest. The City of Walker sure knows how to celebrate Christmas. They brought out Santa and his reindeer (yes, they were real!) and made sure hot cocoa and cookies were available for all. And in true northern fashion, they also set aside 300 pairs of ice skates so the city could get out on the ice. We had the best time supporting the City of Walker's annual Christmas event.
