We are pleased to announce that Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has appointed Heather Jordan as the new Director of the Workers’ Compensation Administration (WCA). Jordan brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this critical role, and we are excited to have her on board. Jordan has devoted her career to public service. She spent 20 years at the Metropolitan Detention Center with the City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. She joined the WCA in 2015 as the Clerk of the Court, was promoted in 2022 to Court and Programs Administrator, and then to Executive Deputy Director in May 2024. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, which she earned in 2014. Please join us in welcoming Director Jordan!
