PED's Curriculum and Instruction and IT Divisions hosted the inaugural New Mexico AI in Education Summit last week, bringing together education professionals from across the state. The event focused on key topics such as policy, governance, and innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Featured speakers included Neal Weaver, Gary Lewis, and Katherine Grunwald (Santa Fe Public Schools), Sam Snoddy (Gadsden ISD), Natali Barretto-Baca (APS), and Casey Nuttall from Instructure.
