Neta is a charitable asset manager making it easier for donors to invest in solutions to issues that they care about.
When it comes to philanthropic giving, we ask ourselves big questions like how can we make the world a better place for our lifetimes and the lifetimes of the next generations.
At Neta we offer investment opportunities into early-stage pre-commercialization technology coming out of leading universities and research institutions to better human well-being. We have two structures:
* Donor Advised Funds (DAFs): for donors that want to specifically pick their investments. Our DAF platform, in addition to allowing simple investments and granting as any other DAF, also offers the ability to individually discover and select from curated early-stage tech opportunities;
* Non-Profit Fund: for donors who prefer to delegate their investment decision. The Non-Profit Funds are pools of technologies thematically grouped, initially by university, where we work closely with the technology transfer/licensing office to identify and invest in promising technology.
In both structures, any return on investments go back to the funds (of the donor or the pool), from where they are re-deployed (directly by the donor in the DAF case, or by Neta in the Non-Profit Fund case), resembling evergreen funds.
