Rep. Mark DeSaulnier (D-CA) introduced legislation to make gyms and fitness centers across the U.S. more accessible to people with disabilities. This bill, a companion to the “Exercise and Fitness for All Act,” introduced by Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), aims to: 🏋️♂️ Ensure fitness equipment and classes are accessible. 👩🏫 Require fitness staff to be trained in working with individuals with disabilities. 🏛️ Set new accessibility standards through the U.S. Access Board. If passed, this legislation could be a game-changer for millions of Americans with disabilities striving for healthier lives. Learn more about the bill and its impact at https://lnkd.in/dD3Dy6Nf.
