Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) women are overrepresented in frontline and low-wage positions, especially in the retail, restaurant, and personal care industry. Unequal pay exacerbates the barriers they face in their everyday lives, including the ability to provide and care for themselves, their children, and extended family members.
