In honor of his upcoming retirement, Bryce Taylor (GLY Construction) was presented the G.O.A.T. Volunteer Award at yesterday’s breakfast, commemorating his 33 years of service and dedication to NAIOP Washington State. Bryce is our chapter’s longest serving volunteer between the Board of Directors, Community Enhancement, Student Engagement, and a myriad of other roles. He has played an integral part in our Community Enhancement Committee since he first joined and has gone on to help lead the planning of more than 30 service projects throughout the Puget Sound region. Generous with his time and talent, Bryce also led many of our student engagement initiatives, providing valuable mentorship and inspiration to the next generation of CRE professionals. Bryce is truly the Greatest Of All Time. We cannot thank you enough for all you’ve done for our community. Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement!

Each year, the Past Presidents of NAIOP Washington State vote to induct a seasoned industry professional into the Hall of Fame. This year’s inductee, developer Rob Aigner, has a commercial real estate career spanning more than 40 years. He is also a longtime member and leader within the organization, having served as Chapter President in 2011. Family, friends, and colleagues celebrated his induction during the Night of the Stars awards ceremony, where NAI Puget Sound Properties President Tina Pappas, also Aigner’s wife, presented his award. NAIOPWA interviewed Aigner about the arc of his career, keys to success in the industry, and the importance of building authentic interpersonal relationships. "There's an industry out here, and if you plan on being successful in the industry, you have got a requirement -- you've got an obligation -- to give back," said Aigner.
