The Association Promoting Quality Rental Housing

About us

Founded in 1992, the Metro Multifamily Housing Association (MMHA) was created to represent residential property managers, owners, and vendors throughout Portland, Southern Washington, and down through the Willamette Valley to Medford. Our members manage over 200,000 units in these areas and represent every service related to the industry. In 2013, Metro Multifamily Housing Association became Multifamily NW to better reflect our diverse membership and affiliations. Multifamily NW is committed to promoting a high degree of professionalism for rental housing providers, owners and partners. We sponsor educational courses, deliver the most comprehensively reviewed set of forms in the state, and advocate to local and state governments on behalf of the industry to ensure our members the best operating environment possible.

Project Care has officially come to a close and now the MFNW Service Committee get to spread holiday cheer to local organizations in need that we are supporting this year. Though the generous donations of the MFNW members we raised almost $7,000 in an effort to provide gifts to all of the current youth at Janus Youth Programs. Janus Youth helps about 4000 youth each year in Oregon and SW Washington that are currently houseless or are at risk of being houseless. Through the member doantions we have been able to help many youth through his holiday season On behalf of the Service Committee and Multifamily NW we extend our sincere thanks to everyone that contributed to making a difference for these youth! ✨ #ProjectCare #MultifamilyNW #TheLibertyGroup #GivingBack #JanusYouth

  • Thanks to Lillian Mongeau Hughes for covering this important issue. What the county report fails to address is any meaningful evaluation of the root cause of housing instability, which is the rapidly increasing cost of providing it — especially in Multnomah County. Rent assistance, while a critical tool that we wholeheartedly support, is just a band-aid. Read the article here: https://lnkd.in/gvqHS87z
