You might be a small to medium brand, but you can still make a big impact. The secret? #Partnerships. Picking the right partner to collab with means taking your fans on a new and surprising journey. It means the chance to align yourself with a like-minded co-captain that reinforces your brand’s values in unexpected ways. And best yet, it means elevation and buzz for both brands—especially if you nail that shared storyline. We’re fresh off the heels of our amazing 21st birthday collab with 4 Hands Brewing Company, the largest craft brewery in St. Louis. Our partnership developed MooseSpace, a Y2K-inspired galaxy hops IPA with influencers, custom goods & more. Want to delve into what makes #brandpartnerships work—and how you can identify the right fit for your brand? Read the full blog (link in comments), and check out these tips below.

Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name… For 21 years, Moosylvania has been trying to defy the ordinary with gifts that make you remember our agency and rep our brand. After all, when your name is Moosylvania, ordinary is just not in the cards (or if you do make cards, make them original). Here’s a few of our previous faves: → “Moose Wax” that doubled as a speaker and had a QR code to a custom holiday jingle → A t-shirt with an air freshener on it that said “Ideas that Don’t Stink”   → We built a custom amazon store and stocked it with pajamas during COVID since you couldn’t leave your house Our friends from ADWEEK also wrote about us last year that you can check out here: https://bit.ly/3Bb3mMp. This year, we’re feeling nostalgic as we’ve just finished celebrating our 21st birthday with a limited edition IPA (which is sold out, BTW!). Introducing: Our 21st Birthday Capsule 🔥🚨 To stay on theme, we drew inspiration from iconic pop culture pubs, bars & taverns  (Pulp Fiction, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Simpsons, Cheers, etc.) and decided to keep the good times rolling. Trucker hats, hoodies, socks, sustainable beer pong, and a one-of-a-kind playing card set. See it for yourself here: https://bit.ly/3ZMa4So. Tell me your favorite item, what we missed or if you need some moose coin! #holidaygifts #adagency #HappyHolidays #AgencyGifts

  • How does an ad agency celebrate turning 21? Like most people do—by cracking open a cold beer with friends! After 21 years in the advertising industry, (specializing in alcohol clients), it’s only fitting we’d throw ourselves an epic 21st birthday and go all out. Here's how we’re celebrating:  --> We partnered with 4 Hands, a local St. Louis brewery to create our very own limited edition IPA, Moose Space.  --> To promote our beer, we launched Moose Space with an interactive website, influencer collaborations and event activations to take engagement to the next level.  --> We worked with local influencers to produce relatable, nostalgic content, building hype for the product release.  --> We threw an epic party at 4 Hands in downtown St. Louis, inviting all of our closest friends to help us chillax and celebrate the Big 21 in style. Everyone loves nostalgia. There’s something special about it that makes your brain catch feelings. When we set off on creating something in celebration of our birthday, we had to find a way to make it relevant to more people than ourselves (nudge: marketers, that’s a free tip for you). Our brainstorm sessions centered around the concept of “nostalgia on tap” as turning 21 and having drinks brings back all the memories (for what you can remember at least). Here are a few things we knew the campaign had to have: → Stopping Power: Our design team was put to the test to create something that would stop you at the shelf.  → Storytelling: When your name is Moosylvania, things have to be original. We wanted to make the first craft beer inspired by the original social network.  → Gamification: Consumers crave connection and allowing them to both passively and actively engage is key in today’s marketplace. And now on shelves around St. Louis, nostalgia in a can! Check out the steps we took below & let me know if you need help finding some (we can also ship some). Not all days are created equal... Yesterday, I kicked off my morning at Fox2 STL for a quick interview about MooseSpace: https://lnkd.in/gYDgZ2gJ. *Our collaboration with 4 Hands Brewing Company hits shelves tomorrow and the STL market is buzzing* It then shifted into hosting our very first recycling event and receiving a proclamation from City of Maplewood, MO announcing yesterday as "Moosylvania Day." *According to the Missouri Recycling Association, recycling is a significant economic driver supporting more than 25,000 jobs in the state and electronic waste is an important category for recycling. Roughly 70% of the materials in electronics can be recovered through recycling and repurposed into new products* An excerpt from the proclamation: Moosylvania, operating out of a historic, nearly 100-year-old church in Maplewood, has grown into a nationally respected agency known for its work with iconic national brands, consistently delivering high-impact and engaging campaigns across various industries. [And we recognize] their outstanding contributions to our community, their unwavering dedication to sustainability, and its role in promoting positive change both locally and beyond. As we gear up for our holiday party tonight celebrating 21 years of business, it's the continual impact we make on brands, people, teammates, businesses, Maplewood & beyond that stands out and makes me excited for the days to come.

  • We’ve been busy. Sustainability has become a major focus for Moosylvania in the last few years, culminating in the planting of our native garden, the transformation of our day-to-day operations, and a pledge to reduce our Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse emissions—even shooting to cut these emissions by 42% by 2030. Moose has been working hard on our mission of fostering a greener future. And we’d love to invite the community to come along! That’s why we’re launching our first-ever electronics recycling event, held at Moosylvania Wednesday, November 13 from 2 to 5 pm. We’ll be joined by our event partner, Midwest Recycling Center, as well as Maplewood mayor Barry Greenberg. Mayor Greenberg will be presenting the agency with Maplewood’s proclamation of November 13th as “Moosylvania Day”—an honor that not only coincides with our agency’s 21st anniversary, but recognizes the strides we’re taking toward helping the community reduce its environmental impact. If you’re in the area, stop by and revamp your recycling with us! For more information: https://lnkd.in/giBXtdTf It’s a big week for the herd, who will also be celebrating Moosylvania’s 21st birthday on November 14. We’re rolling out something special to celebrate, so stay tuned.

For an agency with as much beverage experience as Moosylvania, 21 is quite the landmark birthday—and it called for something special. *Did you know According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, only 10-15% of advertising agencies make it to 20 years?* When we began planning how to celebrate turning 21, we relied on some of the same principles we use for brands we work on: → Come up with an original idea that fits the brand (turning 21 deserves a cold beer) → Find a relevant and cool partner (4 Hands Brewing Company) and collab  → Build a creative campaign that brings the energy to new & existing audiences (stay tuned...) Here’s your spoiler alert 🚨: Introducing MooseSpace IPA. This limited edition beer pays tribute to the early days of social media, with our retro packaging reflecting the Y2K era. Thanks to our friends at 4 Hands, this will be available both on and off premise locally (Total Wine, Schnucks, Dierbergs). Each can has a QR code linking to MooseSpaceBeer.com, where you can dive into a throwback experience inspired by Myspace. A few things you’ll be able to engage with:  → Custom DJ (S/O Ryan J. Brown (He/Him), former Mooser) curated 2000 playlists  → Our very own Photo Hunt game called Moose Touch (with a leaderboard!)  → Some Myspace themed profiles you’ll want to explore While we’re officially launching next week at our 21st birthday bash, I’d love to hear your thoughts (or if you want one) below. #collab #advertising #comingsoon

Last week was full of energy and inspiration at Moosylvania! 🎉 We kicked things off by hosting Mizzou CEO, diving into all things entrepreneurship and sharing insights to help them as they pursue their passion in advertising. 💡 Later in the week, we welcomed back Kirkwood High School students for the first of many sessions! For our fourth year in a row, we’ll be guiding them through the process of building a brand strategy from the ground up. 🦌✨ A huge shoutout to our amazing leaders Andrew Cohen, Mary Delano, Norty Cohen, Sara Hunt, Jessica Kaiser who volunteered their time to make this experience impactful for the students. Your passion, guidance, and expertise made all the difference! We love these opportunities to connect, inspire, and support the next generation of leaders. Today, I took a deep dive into Moosylvania's archives, looking for some fun photos of the team from before my time—and wow, did I find some gems! So many pictures captured this incredible team genuinely enjoying working together. I've worked for many companies across many industries, but being in an environment like this is truly a first. The workplace culture here is vibrant, allowing people to show up as their authentic selves, and that speaks volumes about who we are at Moosylvania. It's a culture that celebrates every unique trait our employees bring to the table, encouraging authenticity and individuality. This type of culture empowers people to truly step into their niche, grow, and develop beyond any formal plan. They excel in their roles, are deeply invested in their work, and bring passion to everything they do—and you can see the results. I genuinely enjoy being surrounded by these cool, passionate creatives every day!
