To make the case for prevention, we have to be able to enhance public awareness and perception. Child sexual abuse is preventable, and we know how to do it. Fatalism is a barrier to action that must be challenged. We partnered with FrameWorks Institute to test 22 communications metaphors with a U.S. nationally representative sample of 5,389 people. The fundamental aim was to identify what works, and what doesn’t, to shift perception.   The research methods, report, and a communications toolkit are part of the recently released Prevention Global knowledge product – MAKING THE CASE.
