Journey to the Center of our Investment Round!
Working to close a funding round for your company is always exciting and joyful, but it also comes with a lot of stress and pressure. This is undoubtedly a milestone and watershed moment for your company, but it also comes with a lot of expectations.
With an all Shark Deal in Season 3, we raised 24.82 Cr INR (2.97 Million $) in our recent round led by Avaana Capital with participation from Momentum Capital, Misfits, VINNERS, Soonicorn Ventures, India Accelerator, Pod, Indigram Labs Foundation - TBI, Supported by DST, GoI, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Pratik, Krishnakanth, Sreekanth, Dhruv, Alok Chandra Misra and many more HNIs & Angels.
We also raised 3.99 Cr INR (515K USD) in our previous round led by Rainmatter by Zerodha & Momentum Capital with participation from 🚀 Puneet, Abhishek, Rahul, Anshuman, LetsVenture, Ajanta Bottle Pvt. Ltd., Swapnil, Dr. Pragat, ANIL ATRI, Sridar, Anurag, Krishnakanth, Sreekanth, Sumit, Rajshekhar, Viswesh, Dripto, Pankaj, Alok and a few Angels.
However, news articles and media outlets only cover the highlights of the process, ignoring the challenges and the people who overcame them. Today, I'd like to reflect on and appreciate those moments in our journey.
We really appreciate the assistance provided by our audit & legal firms, K G Somani & Co LLP and Burgeon Law, especially Abhisshek, Prajjwal, Avinash, Srishti, Parveen, Arihant, and the whole team.
We appreciate Deloitte & IndusLaw's execution of our due diligence work. This time, we worked hard to conclude the major process in 4 to 5 weeks while learning a few new lessons. Don't panic, companies and founders, in our previous round, we took five months to finish the significant due diligence procedure. However, we just improved our procedures after realizing our errors. Additionally, you should allow yourself to go through the learning curve because, as a firm, you are still in the early stages of development and are striving to learn new things. And diligence is an equally important process for you to learn.
Investor talks and negotiations require patience and time, as well as consideration and flexibility on both sides and an effort to comprehend one another's points of view, since communication is essential key to faster closures.
Making this impact journey with our diverse team of mocktail mix members with different experiences is something I really like doing.
Anand, Raunaq, Priya, Mukul, Arpit, Sanjay, Wajahat, Shallu, Versha, Amit, Shailesh, Sandeep, Satyam, Rajnesh, Sudhir, Kiran, Ankit and everyone who I missed to mention (Sorry have limited words and tags).
I would be delighted to connect with you and talk about some of your interesting happenings while we exchange experiences. Come on, let's talk!
We plan to come even stronger and with a lot more research & expansion updates and a few exciting product lines.
