Thanks to our Talent Acquisition team for hosting the Gordon County Youth Leadership group for an industry tour at our corporate campus a few weeks ago. As one of the largest employers in the Calhoun/Gordon County community, it's an honor to host and show students the opportunities within our industry and their backyard. Shout out to our Sustainability and Commercial Product Development teams! Last Friday, they helped the City of Refuge in Dalton, GA, set up their annual Christmas event by sorting, categorizing, and building displays for hundreds of toys for local children to select a gift. This event allows families to celebrate together with a festive meal, gifts for the whole family, and a special visit from Santa! Thank you for giving back to our local community! 🫶

2024 marks the sixth year of Mohawk's partnership with Wreaths Across America. Tomorrow, we join the organization in celebrating National Wreaths Across America Day. Their mission is carried out, in part, each year by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies in December at thousands of participating locations in all 50 states and beyond. In preparation for this day, our drivers helped transport wreaths from Maine to national cemeteries across the U.S. This year, Mohawk Drivers are transporting loads to several cemeteries, including Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Chattanooga National Cemetery, Knoxville National Cemetery, and Arlington National Cemetery. It's an incredible honor to participate in this special event each year. 🇺🇸

We are so proud of our Roanoke, AL, and McFarland Road (Dalton, GA) facilities for being officially certified as a Mohawk Zero Landfill site for 2024. ♻️ This program aims to reduce the company’s environmental impact by diverting waste from landfills through recycling and other sustainable practices. Their success inspires and exemplifies the values that drive Mohawk’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Congratulations to the Roanoke and McFarland teams! 👏

We're excited to share another spotlight from our Engineering team. Meet Deyon, a Pre-Apprentice in Mohawk's Engineering Department and an E4 Infantryman in the Army National Guard! In 2024, Deyon graduated high school, completed his military training requirements, started his college career at the University of North Georgia (where he is currently studying Chemical Engineering), and began his Pre-Apprenticeship at Mohawk. He is completing rotations with several different areas in our Engineering Department! 👏   Mohawk is proud to support career paths of all kinds through programs like our Pre-Apprenticeship, Apprenticeship, and Internship programs, which allow individuals to join Mohawk while attending school.

Congratulations to our Hillsville, VA, and Mohawk Home Floor Mat (Calhoun, GA) facilities on being the newest teams to achieve the Mohawk Standard in our newly implemented SMS program. The Safety Management System (SMS) provides a systematic and disciplined path to managing risks and continuously improving all safety elements in the workplace. Please help us congratulate these teams on achieving this milestone! 👏

In 2024, we welcomed over 140 new Mohawk team members into the Silver Circle. These individuals are part of a dedicated group of Flooring North America and Mohawk Corporate employees who have been with the company for 25 years or more! Congratulations on achieving an incredible milestone, and thank you for the continued commitment and expertise you bring to Team Mohawk! 👏

We're excited to share that Mohawk won the Employer Brand Award and received Highly Commended for the Early Careers Award at TIARA's Talent Acquisition Awards in mid-November. Our "More with Mohawk" employer brand reflects the experiences and aspirations of everyone on the Mohawk team. Because of this, we have been able to enhance several areas of the business including employee engagement, recruiting, and community involvement.
