🎉Ltd. Findlay is open! 🎉 Andy Mest recently shared an update on Greystar's modular housing business with The Wall Street Journal. Ltd. Findlay is the first of six Greystar projects in the pipeline for the Knox, PA, based Modern Living Solutions factory. "Ltd. Findlay was built roughly 40% faster than Greystar’s traditional projects," Mest said. "The on-site construction required one-third of the company’s standard workforce and generated 90% less waste." For those that were at Modern Living Solutions open house when we opened, many of our Greystar colleagues were able to sign the last floor joist installed on module #888 for Ltd. Findlay. It is online and will be headed to site in the next week. Super proud of all those involved! Lots of hard work has gotten us here, a lot more hardwork still ahead. The manufacturing team is doing an amazing job, with the highest quality Multifamily #modular delivery I have seen in the US. Our construction team continues to amaze me with front end delays on permits, 40+ weather days in the first 6 months, lots of civil challenges on design, and they continue to push through in the Greystar way!! You all continue to amaze me with delivering one of largest modular projects in US history with 888 modules and 325,000/SF of modular. We didn’t start with the flattest sites in Pittsburgh but we will deliver a much needed product to the area that will serve the people we need most in our communities.
