Great read from Sarah Johnston, Briefcase Coach: Executive Resume Writing, Job Search Strategies and Interview Coaching on LinkedIn! 🌟 🔗https://lnkd.in/eHxEpkK6 Her latest article on the 2024 job market trends is a must-read for anyone in leadership or looking to level up their career. Key takeaway: The game has changed - it's all about what you can DO, not where you came from. Skills (especially AI know-how) are the new currency in the executive world, & hybrid work is here to stay. Love how she breaks down the shift toward human-centric workplaces & the growing importance of mental health support. Plus, her insights on "backdoor hiring" through networking are spot-on - those unadvertised positions aren't going to find themselves! Sarah nails it with her emphasis on continuous learning. In today's market, if you're not learning, you're falling behind. The future leader needs to be AI-savvy while keeping that human touch. #Leadership #FutureOfWork #CareerDevelopment #JobMarket2024 #ExecutiveLeadership Check out key insights below. What resonated most with you from her analysis? Drop your thoughts below! 👇 Key Insights -🔍 Emphasis on Skills: As businesses move towards skills-based hiring, executives need to showcase their competencies through quantifiable achievements, moving beyond traditional resumes. This trend supports diverse talent & enhances opportunities for those from lesser-known companies. AI Proficiency: With AI becoming integral to decision-making & operational efficiency, executives must not only possess AI skills but also understand how to leverage them for strategic advantage. This positions them as valuable assets in the modern workplace. The Hybrid Work Model: Companies that adapt to hybrid work preferences will attract & retain top talent. Executives are encouraged to create environments that foster flexibility while maintaining productivity & team cohesion. Networking and Transparency: The rise of “backdoor” hiring highlights the need for strong professional networks. Executives should engage in networking to access hidden job opportunities & advocate for transparency in hiring practices to level the playing field. Mental Health Focus: As the workforce evolves, prioritizing mental health & well-being is essential. Companies will need to implement supportive practices that empower employees to balance their professional & personal lives effectively. Continuous Learning: In a rapidly changing job market, executives must commit to lifelong learning. This dedication to skills development not only fosters personal growth but also aligns with organizational needs for innovation & adaptability. AI-Augmented Leadership: The future of leadership will involve collaboration between humans & AI. Executives who can effectively integrate AI into their decision-making processes will lead more efficiently & drive better results for their organizations.

Are you a people manager struggling to support your team's wellbeing while driving performance? After consulting with organizational leaders, I've developed a framework to help you build a resilient, high-performing team: Team Development Strategies for 2025: Build resilience through mindfulness programs 🟢 Implement flexible work arrangements 🔵 Launch career coaching initiatives 🟡 Create peer mentorship networks 🔴 Many options but limited organizational resources? Allocate team resources based on: Team Capacity → what can your people handle? Budget → what programs can you fund? Internal Expertise → what can you implement now? Key decision factors: Start with team assessment: Understand WHY performance drops → Know pressure points Map HOW stress spreads → Know where to intervene Assessment → Strategy → Implementation → Measurement Be practical about organizational constraints: Available Resources → What can you deploy now? Time to Impact → When does your team need relief? Perfect for: Directors, Team Leaders, & People Managers responsible for both team performance & wellbeing. Note on approach: Results vary by team size & culture Quick wins build trust for longer initiatives Framework based on organizational psychology Investment includes both budget & leadership time Follow me (Alicia Ramsdell, CCSP, GCDF, MST) for leadership & team development insights. 🔄 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐑: 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 Just finished reading Dave Ulrich's insightful piece on the future of HR, & it powerfully aligns with what we're seeing at Mindful Career Path (Career Coaching) in our work with forward-thinking organizations. Gone are the days when HR was merely about managing personnel files & handling complaints. The future of HR lies in creating measurable stakeholder value through human capability. What's particularly striking is the emergence of the Human Capability Taxonomy, which perfectly frames the four critical domains we need to master: ✅Talent isn't just about hiring anymore – it's about building competencies that drive organizational success ✅Organizational capabilities often outweigh individual talent in impact (a truth many still overlook) ✅Leadership development must evolve beyond traditional training to truly influence culture ✅The HR function itself needs to transform from service provider to strategic value creator While everyone's talking about AI in HR (& yes, it's crucial), I'm more focused on how we're measuring our impact on stakeholder value. At Mindful Career Path, we're seeing organizations struggle not with implementing tech, but with translating human capability into tangible business outcomes. The real question isn't "How do we use AI in HR?" but rather "How do we leverage both human insight & artificial intelligence to create measurable stakeholder value?" Those driving real transformation are the ones who view HR not as a support function, but as a strategic catalyst for building organizational capability & driving business results. Curious to hear from other business leaders: How are you measuring the impact of human capability initiatives on your organization's success? What's your biggest challenge in evolving your people strategies to meet tomorrow's demands? Check out the article: 🔗https://lnkd.in/eSfJ45KZ Until next time, sending you good vibes. ⁎✧ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴍɪɴᴅғᴜʟ ᴄᴀʀᴇᴇʀ ᴘᴀᴛʜ ᴠɪsɪᴏɴᴀʀʏ, ᴀʟɪᴄɪᴀ ʀᴀᴍsᴅᴇʟʟ✧⁎ #FutureOfWork #HumanResources #Leadership #OrganizationalDevelopment #HR #BusinessStrategy
