The grand opening was attended by noteworthy leaders, including Governor Cox and Mayor Mendenhall, along with Delta’s CEO and COO. The 50,000-square-foot facility features cutting-edge technology, including a FlightSafety Airbus A350 simulator, four procedure trainers for qualification training, ten briefing rooms, and seven classrooms. Future plans include adding simulators for Airbus A320 and Boeing B737, ensuring that the center continues to be a hub for excellence in aviation training. Designed to replicate a complete in-flight experience, these simulators offer pilots realistic scenarios, from the G-forces during takeoff to navigating through turbulence, making their flight training as close as possible to flying with passengers. We’re thrilled to have collaborated with Delta Air Lines to bring their innovative vision to life. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗳𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 The MHTN team embarked on a 5.5-hour journey to Hovenweep National Monument to support the DesignBuild Bluff program. Led by the University of Utah’s Graduate School of Architecture, this initiative collaborates with rural and Native communities in San Juan County, Utah’s Four Corners region. Each year, graduate students design a home for a Navajo family during the spring and bring it to life in the fall with help from local partners and volunteers. This year, our team contributed by installing wood siding, windows, and a metal roof. We're honored to play a small part in this meaningful program, which combines innovative design with community impact. #DesignBuildBluff #SustainableArchitecture #MHTNArchitects #CommunityDesign #ArchitectureForGood #UtahArchitecture #NativeCommunities #DesignBuild #HovenweepNationalMonument
