As 2024 comes to an end, Mesa marked 2024 with major milestones, including the opening of a new $32.3 million City Hall, the debut of Cannon Beach Surf Park, and the launch of Mesa Business Builder @ The Studios to support entrepreneurs. The city also introduced Job Connect Mesa, and launched the Mesa Business Builder @ The Studios, a hub for innovation and collaboration to support businesses of all sizes with offerings such as a computer lab, a podcast studio, conference rooms and workshops.. Mesa led in sustainability by deploying the nation’s first all-electric fire engine and committed $347,000 to address the homeless cat population. Voters approved $260 million in bonds to fuel future projects like Fiesta Redefined, a multi-use redevelopment of Fiesta Mall. Mesa ends the year with accomplishments that set the stage for continued growth. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/gFnfvH6N. #MesaAZ #CityGrowth #Innovation #EconomicDevelopment

This is a compelling article regarding Arizona becoming a dominate leader in national semiconductor investment and onshoring. The CHIPS “Act has had a prominent impact on Arizona specifically as it allocated $8.5 billion to Arizona-based Intel and $6.6 billion to the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s Arizona branch. This has not only led to a stronger statewide economy, but enhanced preexisting ties to higher education institutions. $100 million has been distributed among Arizona State University, the University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University, to further develop semiconductor talent in the U.S.” Learn why more semiconductor companies are choosing Mesa at MesaSemiconductor.com. https://lnkd.in/dm8upJSW #SiteSelection #SemiconductorManufacturing
