In response to the devastating flooding caused by Hurricane Helene, McKee Foods is proud to be part of a dedicated relief effort. Our employees came together to support those affected by this tragic event. It was a heartening sight to see our team stepping up, unloading donations, and using our trucks to deliver aid to our neighbors. It’s profit-sharing season at McKee Foods! For 63 years, we've been honored to continue a tradition that began in 1962. Back then, with the introduction of Little Debbie® and family packs, our company experienced rapid growth. To recognize the hard work and loyalty of all employees — not just management — Ellsworth McKee initiated our profit-sharing program. That first year, every hourly employee received a check for $98.83 — a significant amount at the time — handed out in September to help families with school expenses. Ellsworth, the eldest son of our founders O.D. and Ruth McKee, worked diligently to make this a reality. Today, we're humbled to keep this tradition alive by sharing our success through cash bonuses and contributions to retirement plans.
