🚛 This Giving Tuesday, let’s break barriers together. Over half of our Mobile Market customers face challenges like high food costs and limited access to grocery stores. Healthy food is a right, not a privilege. That’s why our Mobile Market trucks bring fresh, local produce directly to communities where access is limited—boosting nutritious food accessibility and affordability for all. 🎁 All donations on this global day of generosity will go towards restoring MAP’s cold storage to full capacity, a vital link in the chain connecting local farms to Buffalo families. 🍽️ Your gift brings fresh food home. Thank you! https://lnkd.in/eDJ7Hdbn #donate #mobilemarket #foodonthemove #localfood #locavore #foodjustice #foodaccess #givingtuesday

This year, we’ve have been collaborating with local partner organizations to advance soil health initiatives for residents here in the city of Buffalo. 🌱 Check out this WGRZ Channel 2 Buffalo news clip from the latest community meeting where Open Buffalo, Citizen Science Community Resources (CSCR) and the Massachusetts Avenue Project met with community residents to discuss results from soil tests conducted over the summer, and connected them to city and county resources to reduce their overall exposure to lead.

In June, we got the Good Food NY bill through NYS Legislature - now, we need YOUR help getting it signed into law! 🍊 All people deserve access to healthy food that values workers, animals, and the environment. The Good Food NY Bill is the missing piece to transform public food procurement, and ensure that local farmers and municipalities can thrive in New York. This bill aligns perfectly with Governor Hochul’s food purchasing priorities like Executive Order 32, the 30% New York State Initiative, and Nourish NY, yet it’s still awaiting her signature. This legislation has widespread support from New York’s farmers and local governments, and it’s time to act. Let’s get the Good Food NY Bill signed into law! #GoodFoodNY Make the call 📞 https://lnkd.in/g6GyY9cB Reference Links: Executive Order 32 https://lnkd.in/gDnACvka The 30% New York State Initiative https://lnkd.in/gHrBXESc Nourish NY https://lnkd.in/gQ-cZvWh
