People like you help Make-A-Wish® bring lasting, positive change into the lives of kids with critical illnesses. Your support makes it possible for us to grant their wishes, giving them a reason to stay strong through treatments and to believe in the promise of a better future. Though we grant a wish every 34 minutes in the United States, we need to grant a wish every 18 minutes to serve every eligible kid. Every single person who supports us by donating, volunteering or referring a child can be part of our mission. Since 1983, Make-A-Wish OH, KY & IN has granted over 15,000 wishes to local children facing critical illness. 🏈 Football season is in full swing, and this week we partnered with several Mr. Rooter, Mr. Electric, Aire Serv and Rainbow Restoration locations to give a handful of wish kids and their families a VIP Cleveland Browns game experience they'll never forget! Watching the game from the comfort of a luxury suite and decked out in brand new jerseys, our wish families made new friends and priceless memories together. 👱🏼♀️ For wish kid Addie, the most difficult part of having cancer was feeling alone. She struggled to find other kids like her who understood what it was like to miss school, dances, sports, and sleepovers after receiving a critical diagnosis. Addie generously used her wish to create a community support network for other young cancer patients so that they could more easily find the community that she had wished for during treatment. Make-A-Wish® Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana partnered with Addie and The Victory Center to launch Teens Against Cancer and host their inaugural event.
