We want to give a sincere thanks to Dignity Health for their generous donation to Maggie's Place. We're so grateful for the support! It's thanks to donors that we are able to continue to our mission of housing and aiding homeless pregnant women. Thank you to Kathleen Dowler from Dignity Health for presenting us with the check at one of our homes, The Hannah House. We celebrated the holidays early this year by hosting our annual holiday party! As always, we had gifts for the kiddos to pick out for their moms, an Origami Owl station where the moms could choose jewelry, and of course a visit from Santa Claus on his motorcycle! Thank you to all the staff, volunteers, and donors that made this possible.

On behalf of the Maggie's Place staff and Board of Directors, we have made the difficult decision to close Maggie's Thrift. The safety of our staff, volunteers and customers is important to us and we believe this is the best decision at this time. We have enjoyed being a staple in the neighborhood for the last 13 years, and we value the relationships we have made with our donors, customers, and the community. Thank you for thinking of us with your patronage. Donation drop off hours are Tuesday - Saturday from 10:30 am - 3:00 pm. THE LAST DAY WE ARE ACCEPTING DONATIONS IS NOVEMBER 16, 2024. We will continue to provide updates on Maggie's Thrift through our website at https://lnkd.in/gWm5QsfS and through our social media channels.

This past Saturday we had a carnival and legal fair sponsored by Phillips Law Group . Our moms were able to receive legal advice while their kiddos enjoyed games and food. Thank you to all who participated!
