Supporting local communities is important to the team at Nortek Data Center Cooling. This holiday season, the Dyersburg, TN team collected supplies and worked with the local sheriff’s office to provide aid to East Tennessee neighbors impacted by Hurricane Helene. They also hosted a blood drive earlier this year, with over 50 team members donating, and another is just around the corner. Additionally, Nortek Data Center Cooling is proud to support local charities through the Dyer County Fair Association’s Christmas tree fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting organizations like PAWS TO CARE INC and Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Today we’re proud to spotlight Kait Rogstad, Vice President of Human Resources at Therma-Stor, for championing sustainability practices within our organization. Through a partnership with Green Box, LLC, Kait and the Therma-Stor team have been able to decrease the overall waste footprint of the company by composting food and paper and plastic products. Kait recently shared the success of this partnership at the Sustain Dane Summit in Madison, WI. Madison Air is proud to be a military employer. Within our family of companies, there are many men and women who have served our country. In honor of Veterans Day, we’re spotlighting two of our Madison Air entrepreneurs, Scott Ness and K. Charles Mullenger. Scott, Director of Operations at Nortek Air Solutions, LLC Air Solutions, served in the US Army at US Army Garrison Fort Carson. Reflecting on what #VeteransDay means to him, Scott shared, “This day evokes feelings of pride and brotherhood, and serves as a reminder that I am in a great class of people who have served our country.” Scott credits his military experience with sharpening his work ethic, attention to detail, and dedication to teamwork. A true leader, Scott recently celebrated 28 years at Nortek. Charles, GM of Growth Verticals and VP of Strategy at Nortek Air Solutions, LLC Air Solutions, was a Captain in the Field Artillery after graduating from United States Military Academy at West Point. About Veterans Day, Charles shared, “This day is an acknowledgment of the commitment and shared values that unite those who have served. It’s about the courage and the selflessness that we carried with us, willing to go where we were needed, even when it meant personal risk.” His time in the military taught him the importance of leadership, problem solving and grit – traits that complement the Madison Air values of #Trust #BiasforAction and #Entrepreneurship.   Thank you, Scott and Charles, for your service to our country and for your many contributions to Madison Air.
