I never imagined that I would take a role as store manager when I began here in 2005 as a part-time cashier. Thankfully, I had two store managers that saw I had some spunk - in their words - to move up in the company. Without their push and belief in me, I am not sure where my career would have gone. Once I became a leader in the stores, it was my mission to give the people I led the same push and belief. I will never forget when two of my head cashiers called me to tell me that they had both been promoted to operations managers in separate locations. They told me that without my care and push, they would have never thought to move up in the company.
