THE PROTECT THE PURPLE© LINE IS....... Here. Why? Protect the Purple© is about recognizing the unique challenges security officers face EVERY DAY in the line of work. Furthermore, the private security industry is multifaceted, and while you may see an Allied Universal officer sitting on their phone in a safe neighborhood, many security officers private safety in high-crime areas where arrests, hand-to-hand combat, and firearms are a normal part of operations. In almost all 50 states, the US Government(s) allows civilians to operate as private security officers. The Constitutional basis for this existence is largely centered around property rights, gun ownership rights, and agency rights. In the line of duty, security officers might face: 1) Drug and firearms related issues on properties. 2) Stolen vehicles or other thefts. 3) Armed conflict and de-escalation. 4) Challenging conversations with property owners and/or law enforcement. 5) Vital protection of life. And this is all MANDATED, ALLOWED, AND NECESSARY for public safety. So, here we are to support those in need.
