We’re thrilled to announce that Local Kitchens has teamed up with Eggslut founder and celebrity Chef Alvin Cailan to launch our latest brand, Sweet Onion Burger (SOB). SOB features Alvin’s fresh takes on the classic Oklahoma Onion Burger (aka the perfectly juicy combo of Angus beef pressed with thinly shaved onions). It’s an homage to this regional delicacy and the only of its kind in Northern California. If you don’t know Alvin, you’ve definitely seen his work. He’s the creator of the famed restaurant Eggslut and has become synonymous with burger culture: founding LA’s top burger spot, Amboy, hosting FirstWeFeast’s “The Burger Show” and the official food consultant for “Bob’s Burgers.” The LK team had a blast developing this brand in-house with Alvin.
