Lovely sentiment on #thanksgiving by our CEO Spencer! Team. is. everything. We love you guys! thanks for being part of this team and this adventure.
𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. This thanksgiving, I'm grateful for countless things -- our customers, our investors -- but today, I'd like to give a special thanks to our amazing LightSource team. -- Joining a growth-stage tech company is not an easy decision. The hours are long, the risk is high, but the learning is massive, and the bonds run deep. So thank you to Pieter, Sourav, Matthew, Nipun, Anna, Madeleine, Paul, Chris, Murtaza, Jeremy, Ross, Robert, Forrest, Noah, Billy, Dmitriy, Vinh, LightSourcer's present and past Yuan, Kee Hyuk, Eric, Mary, Huy, our extended team Jerry, Alexander, Jonathan, Anoushka, Ajay, Trevor, Travis, Natalie, Mingyue (Carolyn), Elouise, Desmond, Anastasiia, Lev, Wynstan, Prathiba, Suhi... and last but not least, my incredible co-founder and "business-spouse", Idan. The last 3+ years have been an incredible ride. Going from the metaphorical "garage", to the #1 Direct Materials sourcing platform on earth. The things that we've done together, from: - Snowmobiling through Colorado - Braving a hurricane in Nantucket - Late nights at the SF HQ - Countless, dinners, lunches, outings - Laughing until our faces hurt - the "fires" we've fought and bested - Last-minute international trips to customer on-sites - Pushing the limits of our social batteries at conferences - Speaking on the world stage - Crazy sales that worked. Crazy sales that failed. - Making memories with colleagues that sometimes feel more like friends. ... these are all things that bring me tears of joy. Thank you for being part of my life, and thank you for choosing to dedicate your time to building LightSource with all of us together. Happy thanksgiving. 🦃 Much love, - Spencer PS - a few fav photos below (of thousands more)

Welcome to the team Jeremy and Nipun! Couldn't be more excited for what you're about to bring to the world of procure-tech !
So proud to welcome Nipun Agarwal and Jeremy Kharrazi to the team at LightSource! - Nipun is joining as Director of Customer Success, coming from his previous life for the better part of a decade at McKinsey & Company. Incredibly talented individual -- having worked with Fortune 500 companies across the globe revolutionize their procurement work and technologies, and can't wait to see the kinds of experiences he's already starting to deliver to LightSource customers! - Jeremy is the newest member of our exploding G2M team. Jeremy previously spent many years in the Ed Tech space (and was indeed himself previously a TFA teacher). When I heard about his journey, working with senior superintendents, the complex sales-cycles, under-served (and under-appreciated) customers -- it immediately reminded me of #procurement. Welcome guys! -- There's something very "adult" feeling about having multiple people start on the same day. This never used to happen! The idea of a "LightSource Starting Class" is remarkable and a clear signal of our recent growth. In my previous life at Tesla - I remember we were perpetually understaffed. Indeed, there's something weirdly advantageous about "useful constraints" -- forcing greater levels of innovation and automation.... but there are limits. And we're way past those limits. I'm excited to be working with these two exceptional individuals; that they'd be willing to dedicate valuable years of life to be with us on our team. But more than anything, I'm excited for our customers who will have a truly meaningfully improved experience of working with us at LightSource because of these wonderful people. Thanks again, and welcome Jeremy and Nipun!

Welcome Paul! Already crazy to think there was a time when you *weren't* at LightSource! 😵💫
Beyond thrilled to welcome Paul Roberts to the engineering team at LightSource! Brilliant, renaissance man, engineering tour-de-force, artist... these are all words that come to mind when I think about Paul. -- I remember even just 2 short years ago, the idea of recruiting Google Staff Engineer was comical. They would never join a startup? But fast forward, LightSource is a growth-stage company, with Fortune 500 customers, and top flight investors... but that's not what brings great people to the team. The #1 determining factor that candidates consider when looking at new roles is the people -- the team; the folks they'll be working (grinding) with on a daily basis. With each chapter of hiring, the caliber of LightSource just seems to get better and better. @Paul: I am so honored to have you on the team. And cannot be more excited for our *customers* who will benefit from the innovations you'll launch. (fun fact below as usual). This man truly has software in his DNA!
