On November 4th, Leila Allen, Vice President of External Affairs at Lighthouse Autism Center, had the privilege of presenting an Autism 101 training session at Dunes Learning Center. This session provided valuable insights and practical tools for understanding and supporting individuals with autism. At Lighthouse Autism Center, we are deeply committed to expanding the network of compassionate, informed communities that support individuals with autism. As part of this mission, we offer free, comprehensive autism training and community resources to local organizations, healthcare providers, schools, and other groups interested in enhancing their ability to support and advocate for individuals with autism. Our Autism 101 training is designed to build awareness, foster understanding, and equip participants with the knowledge they need to create inclusive, welcoming environments.
