🎉✨ We have designed and optimised the Electrolytic (ELS) system used to produce coagulants from brines. Check out below! 🌊🔬 Different types of brines have been processed and characterised from various industries. The ELS has been used to produce coagulants from 4 different types of brines at the Gandia urban wastewater treatment plant in Spain. 🧪📊 The coagulants produced have been analysed to determine their characteristics. AIDIMME participated in a networking activity titled “Demonstration of Water Management in the Industry by EU-funded and LIFE projects”. This event was an online workshop coordinated by AITEX within the framework of the LIFE ANHIDRA project for the dissemination of projects related to demonstrators in wastewater technologies. In the online workshop, technologies for the management and recovery of water in the industrial sector were discussed. 💧 The workshop was facilitated within EU Green Week 2024, which is part of #WaterWiseEU, a campaign to stimulate an EU-wide debate on water today and in the future. This campaign aims to raise awareness and promote positive collaborative solutions to the issues within the water sector. 🌱 This was a great event to be part of, and AIDIMME were able to present LIFE Waste2Coag and its innovative technology, the ELS, with industry professionals and other European funded projects with technologies relating to the water sector. The LIFE Waste2Coag project team connected in a hybrid meeting 💻 to collaborate and discuss the progress of the project. This meeting gave great insights into how each project partner is working and what they are achieving in the project. 🌱 Collaboration is a huge part of the LIFE Waste2Coag experience, and we take every opportunity to support all project partners in this journey 🤝. Recently, the Spanish Association of Water Supply and Sanitation (AEAS) held the XXXVII edition of their congress in Castellon 🇪🇸, and Global Omnium attended and presented the LIFE Waste2Coag project. Global Omnium presented the project at their booth 🏢 with the project brochure 📄 and the project video 🎥. This was a great event allowing us to network 🤝 and present the project to industry experts 👩🔬👨🔬. The technology involved in LIFE Waste2Coag expects to decrease the current coagulant treatment costs by 50% per m³ of treated wastewater 🌊. This is a significant cost reduction that will positively impact the wastewater treatment process in the future. AIDIMME.
