This year’s Data Science Forum was a dynamic two-day event that highlighted how we’re using data science to advance our company. 💪 With more than 200 attendees from across various departments, the forum brought together data scientists and engineers from Belfast to Beijing to Boston, both in person and virtually. Highlights of the event included: • A keynote speech from President of Global Risk Solutions, Neeti Bhalla Johnson • The Data Science Executive Advisory Panel, where leaders discussed our commitment to investing in data science, technology and artificial intelligence • Through five general sessions, 30 concurrent sessions and 17 poster presentations, leaders and data scientists covered a wide variety of topics from our machine learning model deployment strategy to computer vision models and large language model use cases. The program has been extremely successful, enabling talented students to land exciting co-ops and post-graduate roles. Business Insurance Women to Watch awards program celebrates some of the most outstanding women leaders in insurance today — talented professionals championing diversity, mentoring future leaders and driving innovation. And we’re thrilled to announce that two of our executives were recently named 2024 award winners! 🏆 Liberty Mutual Global Risk Solutions' Chief Financial Officer, Alison Erbig, is passionate about helping others in both her personal and professional life. She is a leader of our Employee Resource Group, WE@Liberty, and in her free time, she chairs Girls on the Run Greater Boston — a program that helps elementary school girls deal with issues such as bullying and body image. Liberty Mutual Reinsurance Senior Underwriter Ines Cloarec was honored for her significant contributions to our business, including leading the development of a new underwriting platform. She also mentors employees through Mystery Coffee — a remote mentoring initiative at Liberty that’s designed to break down barriers of seniority.
