As we close out the year (and there is still more to do..) it was great to celebrate the successes with our global team. I was able to join the UK and US teams, along with Gareth, Paul, Mike and Angus to thank everyone for their incredible hard work. (Paul and Angus are celebrating with our India team as we speak). As Gareth said in his speech “many people would stand here and say I didn’t think this was possible, however, I did! What I didn’t know was how we’d find amazing people beyond the 20 I know…”. We have and they are brilliant! Then off to New York to meet with our investor team, and a thanks to Walton, Stevi, Pedro and Lauren for taking the time with us. Always productive conversations and really helps us and the team move forward. Lovely meal too! Whilst here Gareth and I could meet with our clients and supporters. Thanks Jonathan and Jeff. This isn’t possible without Becky holding the fort (whilst growing her start up business Glass Corner ) back home. A barking cough, kids birthday planning and first practice days at school for the youngest! A lot to juggle. Thank you!! And yes, I did run in -1c in a t-shirt and shorts whilst everyone around me was in jumpers and trousers. Much to their amusement. #privateequity #running #drivinghomeforxmas
