The Salvation Army in downtown Atlanta has begun a $35 million expansion of its homeless shelter, which will be rebranded as The Center of Hope to reflect its comprehensive support for unhoused residents. The project includes the addition of a five-story tower, expanding the shelter to over 90,000 square feet, and providing 116 more beds. The new facility will feature an Education and Workforce Development Center to offer vocational training, while two floors will provide private suites for unhoused veterans as part of their transition to permanent housing. During construction, the shelter will continue to operate at full capacity, with the expanded space offering services for more men, veterans, women & families. @LDDBlueline is proud to be a part of this transformative project, set for completion by October 2025!

LDDBlueline was thrilled to be a part of the Society of American Military Engineers Small Business Conference (SBC) in NOLA! With 6,000 attendees from the federal architecture, engineering, construction, and facility management sectors, there was a lot to do and great people to meet! The SBC brings together federal agencies and businesses to provide valuable market research, share upcoming contracting opportunities, and foster connections with potential teaming partners. It also supports the nation's contracting goals by facilitating networking between private companies and federal program managers, procurement officers, and contracting agencies. It was a wonderful time meeting, greeting, and walking. As James Carville says, "You don't need a guidebook to see New Orleans – just a good pair of shoes".

We are dedicated to creating and celebrating an exceptional healthcare facility for veterans, prioritizing functionality, tranquility, and a healing-focused environment. In partnering with The Molasky Group, LDDBlueline™ was selected to provide architectural and interior design services for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Community-Based Outpatient Clinic, Zebulon, a state-of-the-art healthcare facility for veterans. The facility spaces include exam rooms, offices, a conference room, radiology, physical therapy, mental health, and specialty care. Coordination with national Veterans Administration standards while providing a unique and cost-effective design was the focus of the project. Site parameters had to be closely coordinated for visibility and distance to entrances in order to minimize walking for staff and patients.
