Passenger #airtravel increased globally by 7.1% year-on-year compared to October 2023. This growth reflects the aviation industry’s efficiency and resilience. ☑️ International traffic soared +9.5%, with a robust load factor of 83.5% ☑️ Domestic travel grew +3.5%, maintaining an 84.5% load factor Regional Standouts 🌏 ☑️ Asia-Pacific: Leading the way with a 17.5% growth in demand. ☑️ Africa: A strong recovery - demand up 10.4%, load factor at 73.2% (+3.4ppt). ☑️ Europe: Highest efficiency with a load factor of 85.7%. “Continued strong and stable demand is good news, but just as important is the steady improvement in load factors. It shows what a great job the industry is doing in flying people more efficiently.” said Willie Walsh, IATA’s Director General.
