Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community this holiday season, we are thrilled to share that we raised nearly $180,000 to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Las Trampas! Your contributions make it possible for us to continue empowering our participants to lead lives filled with joy, growth, and belonging. With your support, we can supply our Day Program art and cooking classes for a year, host our annual Participant Appreciation Party, certify 15 staff to use an EpiPen, and bring our residential participants on a fun community outing. We couldn’t be more grateful for your support! #nonprofit #donate #giveback #support #community #fundraising #philanthropy

Time is ticking with just a few hours left! We are extremely grateful to everyone who has donated today. While we’ve made great strides, we are still $14,500 away from our goal. There’s still time for you to make this #GivingTuesday count! Our friend Noah is 24 and has a dual diagnosis of Down Syndrome and Autism. He is a creature of habit. He loves his NASA backpack and wears it every day. Eventually the backpack wears out, breaks, his family orders him a new one, and the cycle continues. Not so long ago, Noah’s backpack had broken and he was waiting for a new one to arrive in the mail. Noah was understandably very unhappy, and when his family woke up the next morning, they couldn’t find him anywhere in the house – a very rare and upsetting occurrence as he never wanders off. Fortunately, their fear was quickly alleviated when they received a call from Anna at the Las Trampas front desk. Noah had somehow managed to slip out of the house and walk half a mile to the campus! When things weren’t going Noah’s way and he woke up on the wrong side of the bed, he sought out a familiar and comforting environment, which for him is Las Trampas. As previously mentioned, Noah is a creature of habit, and his habit is Las Trampas. Don't miss your chance to DOUBLE your impact for the community we support at Las Trampas! Your donation will ensure that participants like Noah have a place where they feel safe and supported. Donate this #GivingTuesday at bit.ly/LTHoliday24. Together, we can achieve great things! We are about halfway through #GivingTuesday!!! Let’s keep the momentum going! A group of early contributors will match every gift received, up to $20,000! This holiday season, our Board Chair Mark is thankful for happy hour. That’s what he calls the hour he and his wife Tammy spend each Friday hosting a music class at Las Trampas. From Heather’s radiant smile to Danny’s energetic dance moves, every moment is filled with joy. In the three years that he has hosted music class, Mark says that the best part has been witnessing incredible transformations. His son, Noah, took his time to get into it, but now he’s rocking to the beat. And Darren has gone from being a quiet observer to dancing with Tammy in the center of the room. Your generosity changes lives here at Las Trampas. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT! Be a part of the joy and growth that our participants experience by donating now at bit.ly/LTHoliday24. Every dollar counts!
