🥂New Year’s Eve Safety Tips from Lancaster EMS!🥂 As we ring in the new year, Lancaster EMS wants to help you celebrate safely. Follow these tips to ensure a fun and worry-free night: 1️⃣Plan Your Night🗺️ Arrange for safe transportation ahead of time. Rideshare services, taxis, or carpooling with a sober driver are great options. Let someone know your plans and check in if plans change. 2️⃣Stay Aware👁️ Be mindful of your surroundings, whether at a gathering or out in public. Keep an eye on personal belongings and stay with trusted friends or family. 3️⃣Drink Responsibly🍹 If you choose to drink, know your limits and pace yourself. Stay hydrated by drinking water throughout the evening. 4️⃣Fireworks Safety🎆 Only use legal fireworks and follow all safety guidelines. Keep fireworks away from children, pets, and flammable objects. 5️⃣Keep Warm🧣 Dress appropriately for cold temperatures, especially if spending time outdoors. Limit your time outside if it’s particularly cold or windy. 6️⃣Know When to Call for Help📲 Recognize when someone may need medical assistance and don’t hesitate to call 911.
