Rabbi Kanelsky of Bris Avrohom in Hillside, NJ recently helped us kick off the holiday season with a blessing and ceremonial lighting of the Terminal B menorah. We wish everyone joy and peace as the Festival of Light approaches.

Happy National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day! The Terminal B team rocked an array of questionable fashion choices and celebrated by spreading holiday cheer for the annual Candy Cane Tour. Ho ho ho!

LGP's Commercial Team collaborated with Susan Van Brackle, MSc, President of Palmer, Perry, Dixon & White Media Group LLC to bring LaGuardia B's first Holiday Pop-Up Shopping Experience to life. This timely activation showcases NYC-made products, creating opportunities for local small businesses to engage with thousands of travelers per day across both of the terminal's skybridges. The Pop-Up features a range of skincare items, packaged snacks and teas, artisanal home goods, handmade jewelry, small-batch NYC souvenirs and more. A rotation of fifteen talented vendors join Terminal B in this hyper-local marketplace which culminates on December 24th: Cindy Victoria Designs, Pudding Pan Desserts, Beautiful Amore Skincare, CTJ Baked Goods, Cantina Royal Hot Sauce, Gather Brooklyn, Sol Essentials Skincare, Flatbush Granola, From the Bronx, eStock Photo, Shari's Tea, K'Essential Blends, Doty Chou Objects, Harissa Hot Honey, and Selena's Gourmet Treats.

This holiday season, the LGP team organized a terminal-wide effort to support those in need. Through the generous participation of the Terminal B community, we were able to collect and donate nearly 2000 lbs of donations for pre-eminent NYC food rescue organization City Harvest. Extending our heartfelt gratitude to partners who joined in the effort, including Air Canada, American Express Centurion Lounge, HMSHost, KONE, Oxford Airport Technical Services, and American Airlines.

Introducing Terminal Bee – our New Brand Ambassador!   Terminal Bee is a custom developed character that will serve as our terminal’s friendly ambassador, delivering light hearted words of wisdom to help us all get through the busy holiday season – and the airport terminal – with a smile on our faces and a positive outlook on the flight ahead. After the holidays, Terminal Bee will continue to make his home in the magical universe of Terminal B throughout the year.   Terminal Bee will be buzzing around helping to provide travelers with a world-class travel experience from curb to gate. Guests will find Terminal Bee on signage throughout the terminal, on the terminal website, social media, cocktail napkins at terminal bars, and more. In addition to sharing holiday greetings and terminal tips, Terminal Bee will highlight shopping and dining options.    We partnered with our advertising and design agency Girardville Miners' Cooperative, led by Brian Flatow who conceived the character and engaged with acclaimed character developer Pat Giles of Danger Pigeon: The Character Agency to develop the Terminal Bee character.   We hope you enjoy Terminal Bee as much as we do and that you’ll remember to ‘Take it Beezy’ on your next visit to Terminal B.
