Earlier this year, Koppers achieved its goal of cutting Scope 1 & 2 emissions in half, well before our 2030 target. But what does that really mean? 🟢 Scope 1 - direct emissions from operations 🟢 Scope 2 - indirect emissions from purchased energy Factors that contributed to this achievement include ongoing efforts to optimize energy consumption, centralizing our operations and innovation at our facilities. In, 2025 we plan to set new and equally ambitious goals for the future! 🌎
