Time to take the handcuffs off, IT Leaders. Your SaaS platforms shouldn't be the ones driving your decisions 🤔 Here's a reality check: - Enterprise organizations juggle 900+ SaaS applications - 56% of IT budgets are locked into maintenance costs - Traditional digital transformation efforts see only 16% improvement But the real problem isn't your tech stack—it's the approach. What if instead of: → Forcing developers to work within system constraints → Making users adapt to platform limitations → Building everything around technology choices You could: → Let developers use their preferred frameworks → Design experiences users actually want → Connect systems without replacing them The most innovative IT leaders are flipping the script. Here's how: https://lnkd.in/gTyXeWkQ

You might be trying to shove a square peg into a round hole. Too often, organizations let their software dictate how they work instead of designing workflows that actually fit their needs. But leading organizations are flipping the script by putting their workflows first. Here’s a 3-step approach they’re using to revolutionize their digital experiences: 1️⃣ Map the ideal user journey: Start by understanding what a seamless experience looks like for your users. 2️⃣ Design workflows to match: Build processes that enable and enhance this journey. 3️⃣ Integrate the right tools: Choose technology that fits your workflows—not the other way around. 💡 Your tools should serve your strategy—not shape it. Stop shoving square pegs into round holes. It’s time to reimagine how you think about software. Want to learn how to make this happen? Are companies waking up to CRAZY costs of mega-SaaS platforms? Is it just me, or am I crazy to think that realizing $1M+/year in costs to store lists of records, and track things doesn’t make sense? I listen to these earnings calls from the big software companies and hear them bragging about how many customers are paying $1M / $10M per year… Is that actually a good thing? Kudos to the software vendor — but are customers really getting value? I don’t mean to hate on the big software platforms out there, but their customers are struggling. They are fighting MEGA costs because of the customizations they make and keeping up with upgrade cycles. Shoving features/AI down their throats and increasing their costs are hurting them. There IS a better way. #vendorlock is real and it can be avoided… I feel like an awakening is coming — the days of the “all-in-one” platforms are going away. Decomposible tech-stacks with the right integration and UX frameworks can make this happen at 1/10th the cost. If you’re done drinking the koolaid of the mega-saas platforms - comment or DM me — we have a great option that will drive efficiency, save you money & capitalize on the investments you’ve already made. This is how we do it…

In software development, having the right tools can make all the difference. That’s true whether you’re developing software as your final product (like we do at Kinetic Data) or you’re developing special-purpose applications to perform specific functions within your business enterprise or government agency. That’s also how we started a recent blog post about our experience in choosing some of the development tools we use in building and enhancing our Digital Experience Platform (DXP). Specifically, we covered: Runtime version managers: There have been tools around for quite a few years that manage multiple versions of a programming language. We found one that supports a plethora of programming languages, build tools, and other programs. Integrated Development Environments (IDEs): These are the powerhouse of a developer’s toolkit, combining multiple tools into a single application. We like two that enhance our productivity and make it easier to manage complex projects. Code Editors: Sometimes a lightweight code editor is all you need. We use three that provide essential features like syntax highlighting, code completion, and code formatting. We’ve built all the qualities that attract us to these tools—speed, ease of use, power, flexibility—into our DXP. Whether you’re building out a cross-functional service catalog or a system to automate a complex workflow like employee onboarding, we want to enable you to develop it rapidly and iteratively, with built-in security and scalability.
