What an inspiring 4 days at HLTH in Vegas! 🌟 The conference closed with energy-filled industry night featuring Busta Rhymes, followed by a passionate speech from First Lady Jill Biden this morning, reaffirming her commitment to supporting women’s health. Her words were accompanied by an engaging discussion on a new government initiative to boost research and innovation in this space. As I reflect on these impactful days, here are a few key trends that stood out: - AI is making a big difference—revealing important trends, improving communication, and enabling earlier disease detection. - Innovators are launching consumer products in categories that were previously only available in clinical settings, democratizing access to essential health tools. - Women’s health is gaining much-needed attention, with a stronger push for personalized, integrative care solutions and innovations specifically addressing women’s needs. - Dental care is now being recognized as a crucial part of overall healthcare, with efforts to integrate it more fully into patient care. - Empowering patients through education and providing tools for better decision-making are driving improved health outcomes. - Access to care is improving, and diabetes trends are stabilizing. - Mental health is finally getting prioritized, with a shift toward compassion-driven care and increased attention to integrating mental well-being into overall healthcare models. There’s still much work ahead, but this community of innovators and organizations is pushing healthcare forward. On the personal note, any community is comprised of people, and it is through genuine personal connections that we enable that collective spirit that is capable of overcoming any obstacles. Kirk L. Starting Day 3 at HLTH USA in Vegas, and it’s been an incredible journey so far! 🌟 Lots of amazing conversations have unfolded, and as expected, AI is front and center. What’s exciting is that we're now seeing validated outcomes—while caution and lessons learned are still key, the overwhelming evidence of AI’s positive impact in healthcare is undeniable. We’re truly living in an era of AI-led transformation across health and other industries. What excites me even more is the focus on holistic and integrative approaches to health, with special attention to women’s health. The discussions are going beyond just the promise of better care—they’re about being honest with what’s not working and what’s being done to fix it. I also saw some incredible startup pitches, with many direct-to-consumer models that are democratizing access to care. It’s inspiring to see high-profile voices like Halle Berry speaking about her women’s health startup! Looking forward to more transformative insights as the conference continues! #HLTH2024 #HealthcareInnovation #AIinHealth #WomensHealth #DigitalHealth

Just returned from the Alloy Venture Building Summit in Atlanta, and what a fantastic experience! 🚀 The event centered around supporting innovation, which aligns perfectly with our mission at Kepler Team—helping innovators bring their digital health products to life. It was exciting to see healthcare front and center in so many discussions. So many takeaways from great panels on the use of AI, transforming healthcare, funding trends for 2025, sustainability, and many other engaging topics. I learned about the ultimate creative power of humans, the rise of zombiecorns, the importance of good storytelling for startup founders, the various funding sources that aren’t always obvious for startups, solving critical problems through creative innovation, and the critical need to align success definitions across all sides. I’m so grateful for the insights shared by these amazing thought leaders. One of my lightbulb moments was a glimpse into Sam Walton’s wisdom through David Senra from Founders Podcast : belief comes before ability. This was truly the essence of what innovation is all about. Huge thanks to High Alpha Innovation for organizing such an inspiring event!
