  • For Oak Creek, it was the first step in revitalizing its lakefront area, and for Kapur, it was the opportunity to help once again a community it holds in such high regard. By providing the civil/site engineering, landscape architecture, survey, and stormwater management for what is now the Coast Apartments and Ivy Townhomes, the 65-acre mixed-use development along Lake Michigan now offers this budding location 650+ apartments/condos, 300+ homes, shared-use pools, a vibrant downtown square, and direct access to Lake Michigan, Lake Vista Park, and Bender Park trails. But that was just Phase I, and as we look forward to contributing to Phase II and Phase III, we can’t wait to see this completed revitalization that will bring the City’s master plan to life. #AllIn #Engineering2024 #ProjectCompletion #TopProjects #BuiltToLast #RaisingTheBar2025

  • Kapur delivered the preliminary and final design for the 0.75-mile CTH T (N. Grandview Boulevard) urban resurfacing project, which involved replacing traffic signals at three intersections and upgrading curb ramps. The success of this project relied heavily on a sophisticated staging plan, a multi-stage traffic control plan, and seamless coordination with adjacent construction projects. These efforts were critical to navigating the challenges of this dense urban corridor, ensuring smooth execution while managing extensive utility coordination and minimizing disruption.

  • The Wisconsin State Fair may only last 11 days each year, but keeping the grounds in top shape is an around-the-clock job we’re fortunate to be a part of! When it came to replacing four underground culvert segments that convey Honey Creek, we applied over 8,200 linear feet of Geopolymer Mortar Lining, 40,613 gallons of exterior grouting, removed approximately 1,600 tons of debris, and repaired storm sewer connections, realigned culvert deflections, and implemented flow control measures to maintain natural water flow. Kapur provided comprehensive construction management services to keep the project on track and ensure quality. From coordinating contractors to overseeing chlorine testing, our team prioritized safety, regulatory compliance, and long-term functionality. #AllIn #Engineering2024 #ProjectCompletion #TopProjects #BuiltToLast #RaisingTheBar2025

  • We hope our commitment to serving those who serve is reflected in our ongoing work at Fort McCoy near Sparta, Wisconsin, where we recently completed a transformative redesign of the main visitor entrance at the Wisconsin Military Academy, enhancing functionality and aesthetics while addressing critical drainage and maintenance challenges. Key upgrades include elegant bollard lighting and a welcoming patio with a seat wall, low-maintenance landscaping and a modern sprinkler system, and improved sidewalks and asphalt access roads. Honored to have made this contribution, we look forward to completing our future projects involving critical upgrades to the Mobilization and Training Equipment Site facility and designing the future Challenge Academy.

  • Since the start of corridor construction in 2021, Kapur has been proud to support WisDOT in various roles to expand STH 15 to a four-lane divided expressway. Starting with corridor survey support on the Hortonville Bypass projects and continuing through today as we provide construction oversight on the final segment from Hortonville to New London, this important commuter route connecting to the Fox Cities will boost economic development opportunities and provide a safer, more efficient route. #AllIn #Engineering2024 #ProjectCompletion #TopProjects #BuiltToLast #RaisingTheBar2025

  • Throughout the holiday season, as millions passed through O’Hare International Airport, it brought us great joy knowing we contributed to the $1 billion expansion of Terminal 5 as part of the O’Hare 21 project. Working alongside FH Paschen, Kapur provided construction and pavement layout, 3D modeling for pavement, and CAD setup to support new structures and a building addition. These upgrades enhance capacity to meet the growing demands of one of the world’s busiest travel hubs. Here’s to smoother travels and brighter journeys this holiday season and beyond!
