Trivia, holiday cheer, and a touch of intrigue — the perfect combo! Recently, our team took a break from our usual day-to-day to bond over a virtual trivia game with a twist: a few traitors were among us, slyly steering us off course. Although one of our core values is 'begin with trust', this time, we had to keep a watchful eye on our teammates! 👀 Moments like these remind us that fun isn’t just a bonus — it’s essential to a thriving work culture. As the year winds down, we’re grateful for the chance to come together, share some laughs, and embrace the holiday spirit.
About us
Jump is the only end-to-end fan experience platform built for sports teams and venues, breaking the mold for what fans can expect at live events. Jump’s enterprise software enables sports teams and venues to unlock the massive opportunities that come from real relationships with their fans, rethinking the traditional model that hasn’t put the fan experience first. Founded in 2021 by Marc Lore, Alex Rodriguez, and Jordy Leiser and backed by top venture firms including Forerunner Ventures, Will Ventures, Mastry Ventures, and Courtside Ventures, and more, we’re just getting started! We are a remote first team that grounds our actions and decisions in our core values — begin with trust, play like the underdog, and do your thing. Living our values means that we always assume positive intent, show up with authenticity and empathy, and push the limit of what is possible with our collective creativity. We’re actively recruiting for smart, tenacious, adaptable, and most importantly kind people to join our team!

The Jump team concluded Hispanic Heritage Month with an empanada making class. Food is such a powerful window into culture and tradition. The class enabled us to get hands-on with some delicious dough and guava, while also learning about the rich history and cultural significance of empanadas across Latin America. It was a fun way to come together, enjoy amazing food, and celebrate the diverse contributions and vibrant cultures of the Latine community.

📖 Back-to-school season is in full swing and many of us here at Jump are sending our kids off for another year of learning and discovery. At Jump, we believe learning is a lifelong endeavor. To enable our team to develop new skills and deepen their expertise, we recently introduced a learning & development stipend. Our team shared some ways they’ve supercharged their learning this year: “Jump's L&D stipend enabled me to enroll in a coding bootcamp. This experience has allowed me to work more effectively with my engineering team, which has in turn resulted in a higher quality product for Jump!” - Erin Corcoran, Principal Product Manager “I attended DataDog DASH which introduced me to a lot of topics not only central to observability in DataDog but also what is happening in the industry around observability and monitoring. I was able to learn about a lot of newer tools and make real time connections with others in the field.” - Daniel D., Staff DevOps Engineer “I joined a local Toastmasters chapter this year. Toastmasters is a global non-profit organization that helps individuals build confidence and communicate more precisely. With Jump’s encouragement and financial support, I’ve made significant progress in organizing my thoughts and delivering them concisely.” - Jerry Hong, Staff Software Engineer “I love how Jump supported me and the rest of the design team going to Config 2024. It gave us a jolt of creative energy, kept us up to date on the latest Figma features, and helped us learn how we could be constantly improving our design system.” - Cornelius Hegeman, Principal Product Designer We’re already seeing our team put their new skills and knowledge into action. Here's to a learning-filled year for everyone—inside the office and out! 📚✨

🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈 At Jump we recognize Pride Month as a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and as a strong reminder of the importance of continuing to fight for equality and the right for all to live authentically and freely. This month, a few Jumpsters came together to support Point of Pride's mission to help trans youth and adults access necessary, life-saving health and wellness services. The Jump team wrote letters of support and encouragement to be discreetly mailed alongside support packages to trans folks with barriers in accessing healthcare. We are honored to be a small part of spreading love and positivity to the community served by Point of Pride. We’re proud to support and stand with our LGBTQ+ colleagues and friends, not just this month but all year round. Join us in celebrating the beauty of diversity and the importance of acceptance. Happy Pride Month to all. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈

This May, we are proud to recognize Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month and the meaningful role that the AANHPI community has played in shaping U.S. culture and history. To celebrate, we are supporting Twrl Milk Tea, an AANHPI female-owned small business that shares Jump’s values of sustainability and community. All of our Jumpsters will be indulging in a selection of TWRL’s delicious, organic, vegan milk tea and their hot-off-the-shelf popping boba. Asian Americans make up about 7% of the U.S. population and have an outsized impact on our country’s economy and culture. We’re excited to continue finding ways to uplift the vibrant AANHPI community and entrepreneurial spirit. Join us in our celebration! #aanhpimonth

At Jump, we’re on a mission to elevate the live event experience. We know that live events can have an impact beyond just entertainment, often creating lasting connections and unforgettable memories. We asked a few of our newest Jumpsters to share about their favorite events. Whether it’s bonding with family over a beloved team, immersing ourselves in another country’s culture, or witnessing a professional athlete’s prowess up close, these experiences highlight the incredible impact that live events have on our lives. Have you attended any live events that became core memories? We’d love to hear about them in the comments! #fanexperience #liveevents
