This evening, I had the privilege of hearing from one of my favorite humans in DC, Jim Knight. I was also moved by listening to a long-time resident of Jubilee Housing tell the incredible story of her family’s empowerment as a result of living in the Jubilee community. Every time I’m fortunate enough to engage with Jubilee, I’m reminded of the importance of Justice Housing in our expensive city. Jubilee is nearly doubling our impact! By this time next year, 4 new properties will open in Adams Morgan, immediately providing 120 households with Justice Housing®—deeply affordable homes with onsite and nearby resources in D.C.’s resource rich Ward 1. Here’s what giving back to Jubilee means: 🏠 464 low-income households have safe, reliable long-term housing. 💙 Families have access to food, childcare, medical care, case management, and more. 🎒 Students thrive in our afterschool programs, where they learn, play, and grow in a safe, supportive environment. 💼 Returning citizens receive the support needed to rebuild their lives.
