Our final Veterans Day feature honors Alan Wagar, our Chain Manager (Convenience), based in Tampa, Florida. When asked what inspired him to serve, Alan shared: "My initial exposure to the military was through my grandfather, who fought in the army at the Battle of the Bulge during World War II. The patriotism he and his generation displayed, answering the call to defend our country, inspired me to enlist when our nation called again. The intense bonds I formed with those I served alongside validated that inspiration, giving me brothers and sisters for life. Now, as a veteran, I channel my passion into helping other veterans and addressing pressing concerns in our community." Thank you, Alan, for your service and dedication! We are proud to have you part of our Johnson Brothers family!

This Veterans Day, we proudly recognize Matthew Bell, our Warehouse Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina, and a dedicated veteran. When asked how his military experience has given him a unique advantage in his role at Johnson Brothers, Matthew shared: "I feel that my military experience shaped my perspective on what makes good leaders. Ultimately, I learned that there is more than one way to manage, and often managers need to adjust to the constantly changing environment to be successful." Thank you, Matthew, for your service and for bringing your leadership and adaptability to our team. We are honored to celebrate you and all veterans today!

With deep gratitude, we recognize and celebrate the courage and commitment of our Johnson Brothers veterans. This Veterans Day, we honor those who have selflessly served and continue to make a difference in our company and communities. Today, we proudly feature Jared Milbradt, our National Credit Supervisor. Reflecting on what Veterans Day means to him, Jared shared: “I am eternally grateful I had the opportunity to serve my country and its citizens. Over the course of several deployments and training, I refined self-discipline and efficiency and realized the gravity of camaraderie and sacrifice. I spend each Veterans Day reconnecting with my fellow veterans and sharing in their triumphs and sorrows.
